The International Photography Awards conducts an annual photography competition for professional, non-professional, and student photographers on a global level, creating one of the most ambitious and comprehensive competitions in the photography world today. The IPA recognizes photography’s leading talents who are creating, shaping and defining the world of photography today.
The Arnold Newman Prize for New Directions in Photographic Portraiture is awarded annually to a photographer whose work demonstrates a compelling new vision in photographic portraiture. In addition to the winner,
the jury selects three finalists each year who are invited to participate in an exhibit at the Griffin Museum of Photography.

NEVER GIVE UP! – This is the motto 2020, which combines the work of the photographers of the Festival La Gacilly-Baden Photo in two impressive themes: “All Eyes East” and “Renaissance”.
Surprising perspectives inspired by sensuous creativity: the best photographers in the world transform the gardens, streets and squares of Baden bei Wien in Austria into an all-embracing work of art.
Integrated into the public space, there are about 2,000 photographs to be seen, some as large as up to 280m2.
The festival will take place 14 July (French National Holiday) to 26 October 2020 (Austrian National Holiday).
The award, a collaboration between PHOTO IS:RAEL and the Zvi and Ofra Meitar Family Fund, will take place for the fifth time this year to a photographer whose works demonstrate excellence in the field of photography. Where is HOME? How does HOME feel? For the fourth time now, outstanding series of images are being sought that deal with the competition topic of HOME across the entire spectrum
of photographic approaches. Professional photographers and artists who work with the medium of photography and young photographers under the age of 26 are invited to take part.
