Der Neue BFF-Förderpreis 2020

Unter dem Motto »elementar« lobt der Berufsverband Freie Fotografen und Filmgestalter e.V. (BFF) erneut den »Neuen BFF-Förderpreis« aus. Gesucht werden die zwölf besten Fotokonzepte, die inspirierende und grundlegende Denkanstöße für die Sicht auf die Welt von morgen vermitteln.  Noch bis 15. November können sich Studierende der Fotografie ab dem 4. Semester aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz bewerben.

Exposition QUI ES-TU / Philip Provily

The portraits of plainpicture photographer Philip Provily question identity with a very personal sense of humor and poetry.
Inspired by the great Dutch masters, he works in daylight.
This exhibition features self-portraits, portraits of women, imaginative stagings and instant portraits.

Paolo Pellegrin - UN'ANTOLOGIA

Paolo Pellegrin is known today as one of the world’s leading documentary and conflict photographers.  The career‐spanning exhibition PAOLO PELLEGRIN – UN’ANTOLOGIA at the House of Photography sheds new light on his creative vision. UN’ANTOLOGIA is a fitting tribute to Pellegrin’s lifelong engagement with the human condition, but it also serves as an important reminder that reportage photography was, is, and always will be far more than simply a medium for news and information.

Der Greif, together with Berlin Photoweek, is interested to explore possibilities and limits of exhibiting photographic images presented in poster-form but being high quality prints.
Image makers worldwide are invited to submit one image in portrait format that is visually powerful and stands out.
Submit work to be selected for a print exhibition during Berlin Photoweek (October 10-13) at Kraftwerk Berlin.

dodho 2019 black and white awards

Any genre has room for the dodho 2019 black and white awards. The only requirement is to have a view of the world around and a unique and personal speech.
The contest is open to any black and white photography interpretation, from photojournalism, street photography, artistic photography, portrait, nude, landscapes.
