Annual Photo Awards 2020

Celebrating photographers of all levels, professionals, amateurs and students alike, the Annual Photography Awards invites participants to the second installment of this International Photography Competition. Looking specifically for those with a bold & innovative approach that disrupts traditional artistic standards, participants can submit entries in up to eight categories.

German PhotoBook Award for Moritz Küstner

plainpicture photographer Moritz Küstner has been awarded Gold at the German Photo Book Award in the documentary-journalistic category. His book "Silence is the sound of Fear" about the life and fate of the Crimean Tatars has been published at Verlag Kettler. Congratulations!

With fourteen years of history the Arte Laguna Prize gives the opportunity to join the huge network of collaborations worldwide, exhibit in the breathtaking location of the Arsenale of Venice on March 2021.

Photographers against oppression: Free Belarus!

A print sale is organized by Ksenia Kuleshova and Alexey Shlyk to support brave Belarussians, who since the 9th of August have been protesting against the results of rigged presidential elections and following brutal violence of the militaries. Among the participants are 7 MAGNUM photographers, 4 photographers from VII Agency, and 8 Belarusian photographers. All the proceeds (excl. production costs) will be transferred to the Belarus solidarity foundation Фонд солидарности BYSOL/Belarus solidarity foundation.

Wild Lens Magazine searches for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2020.  Photographers can submit images in the categories Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, Underwater, Macro and Landscape.

Georg Koppmann Preis für Hamburger Stadtfotografie

Die Stiftung Historische Museen Hamburg vergibt den jährlichen Georg Koppmann Preis für Hamburger Stadtfotografie. Im Mittelpunkt der Arbeiten soll eine künstlerisch-dokumentarische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Stadtbild Hamburgs und seinen Veränderungen stehen. Das vergebene Stipendium richtet sich an professionelle Fotografen und Absolventen von Fotostudiengängen.

The Biennal Grant 2020

The Biennal Grant has been conceived to fund and support photographers working on documentary or fine art projects.
It is open for applications every two years, and it aimes to fund  photography project expenses through 24 months with a monthly stipend.
