Biennial of Fine Art & Documentary Photography

Emotions and Commotions Across Cultures  will present 1230 photos by 446 contemporary artists from 41 countries of all continents - among them 65% women, who have received the Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Women Photographers.

Der Freundeskreis des Hauses der Photographie e.V. lädt am 5. November 2016 zur alljährlichen Portfoliosichtung in Hamburg ein. Nachwuchsfotografen erhalten die Chance, sich von Fachleuten aus unterschiedlichen fotografischen Bereichen, wie Werbe- und Bildagenturen, Bildredaktionen und Ausstellungsinstitutionen, beraten zu lassen. Jeder Fotograf erhält die Möglichkeit, Einzelgespräche zu führen und nimmt anschließend an dem offenen Portfolio-Walk im Haus der Photographie teil.

Die Sichter der Portfoliosichtung bilden ebenfalls die Fachjury und wählen die besten Fotoarbeiten im Rahmen des „Best Portfolio“-Wettbewerbs aus.

Creative Director Roman Härer von plainpicture wird ebenfalls als Portfolio-Sichter teilnehmen.
